An exciting opportunity has arisen for a growing start-up company South of Manchester City Centre. Our client specialises in providing Data Centre Solutions to clients across the North West and are on the look out for an Account Manager to help grow their customer base and channels, meeting with stakeholders and building relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting for new clients to secure signed revenue through entire sales cycle
  • Manage customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and responding to customer enquiries including growth and development
  • Develop and maintain a clear understanding of customer needs and requirements, advising how their services and products can address their needs
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Meet with stakeholders and key decision makers, remotely and on site
  • Occasionally give tours to clients around the Data Centre's
  • Identify opportunities for improvement

Skills Required:

  • Have around 2 years of experience within Account Management, Business Development or a customer relationship building background
  • Experience working within MSP / ISP / Digital Realty background would be highly desired
  • Be well-versed in partner eco-systems to build on successful channels
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills as well as strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Knowledge of IT / Data Centre infrastructure, networking and cloud technologies or a willingness to learn quickly
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
