Remuneration
- Salary: 27,000 - 35,000
- Annual performance-related bonuses
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
Responsibilities
- Managing and overseeing the import and export of goods from various global locations.
- Organizing the collection process with designated transportation firms.
- Collaborating closely with clients, branch offices, international agents, and transportation providers, among other partners.
- Delivering exceptional customer service by addressing queries and providing timely updates.
- Overseeing order tracking, invoicing, and managing pre-alerts from overseas offices and agents.
- Handling Customs entries as required.
- Monitoring shipments until final delivery.
- Managing job costing and invoicing duties.
Requirements
- At least two years' experience with a UK-based freight forwarding company.
- Experience in import or export operations, including air, road, or ocean shipments.
- Strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures.
- Practical experience with freight-related software such as Cargowise, Multifreight, etc.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
