Role details:
- 6+ Month contract
- Up to 675 p/d
- 5 Hours p/w
- Mostly remote with 2 days per month client site visit
- Role subject to security clearance checks - discussed upon application
The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting an experienced Human Factors Engineer, to join a well-established design & infrastructure consultancy, that work on managing some of the UK's biggest Energy & Defence projects, as well as global.
What do you need to succeed?
- Proven experience in applying HF within an engineering context
- Experience supporting nuclear safety case development and a good understanding of the nuclear safety case process.
- Strong knowledge in human reliability assessment
Additional required skill include:
- Human error identification
- Qualitative/quantitative error analysis.
- Substantiation of operator safety claims.
- Experience supporting nuclear safety case development/review (ideally 3+ years) with a good understanding of the nuclear safety case process.
- Ability to deliver HF assessment with minimal supervision.
- Able to work as part of a HF and safety case delivery team.
Qualifications:
- Relevant qualification in Human Factors, ideally a related degree.
- Chartered membership of CIEHF is desirable.
