The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting an experienced Human Factors Engineer, to join a well-established design & infrastructure consultancy, that work on managing some of the UK's biggest Energy & Defence projects, as well as global.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Proven experience in applying HF within an engineering context
  • Experience supporting nuclear safety case development and a good understanding of the nuclear safety case process.
  • Strong knowledge in human reliability assessment

Additional required skill include:

  • Human error identification
  • Qualitative/quantitative error analysis.
  • Substantiation of operator safety claims.
  • Experience supporting nuclear safety case development/review (ideally 3+ years) with a good understanding of the nuclear safety case process.
  • Ability to deliver HF assessment with minimal supervision.
  • Able to work as part of a HF and safety case delivery team.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualification in Human Factors, ideally a related degree.
  • Chartered membership of CIEHF is desirable.
