Motormatch Recruitment are recruiting for an MET Technician / Workshop Controller

Join a dynamic and growing team at a leading automotive repair shop. Dedicated to providing top-quality service and vehicle body repairs. With a track record of excellence and customer satisfaction, the repair centre is seeking a skilled MET Technician / Workshop Controller to join their team.

As a MET Technician / Workshop Controller, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Diagnosing issues, repairing, or replacing components
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and trim issues on vehicles with effectiveness
  • Repairing and replacements of damaged components, electrical wiring, interior trim, and mechanical systems
  • Conducting thorough inspections and testing to validate the safety of the repaired vehicles
  • Stripping and refitting parts on vehicles
  • Maintain accurate records carried out in the workshop, raising invoicing and billing when necessary
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, concerns or complaints to ensure a positive experience
  • Monitor the progress of customers vehicles and relay customers with the progress of their vehicle
  • Allocate jobs to technicians based on skills and workload
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workshop

As a MET Technician / Workshop Controller, you will have:

  • Previous experience as a MET Technician / Workshop Controller (within an accident repair centre)
  • NVQ Level 3 / ATA (Preferable)

Working hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 8AM to 5PM
