Position Details:

- Band: 6
- Location: Manchester
- Contract Duration: 3 months (with potential for extension)
- Working Hours: Full-time, Days
- Start Date: ASAP
- Pay Rate: £21 - £26 per hour (based on experience)
A Day in the Life of a Community RMN: As a community psychiatric nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate care to those in need. Your responsibilities will include:
- Community Visits: Conduct regular home visits to assess and support patients, ensuring their care needs are met.
- Medication Administration: Ensure timely delivery of prescribed medications, carefully monitoring their effects on patients.
- Patient Engagement: Build strong relationships with patients, understanding their mental health conditions and providing tailored support, tracking progress or setbacks.
- Risk Assessments: Evaluate risks to ensure the safety of patients and those around them, creating a secure and supportive environment during their treatment.
What We’re Looking For:
- NMC Registration: Active registration as a mental health nurse.
- Community Experience: Previous experience working in community mental health is essential.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively, even under pressure.
- Independent and Team Player: Comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
