- Position: Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) – Adult Team
- Band: 6
- Location: Manchester
- Contract Duration: 3 months (with potential for extension)
- Schedule: Full-time (Days)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Hourly Rate: £26
In this essential role, you’ll provide comprehensive care and support to adults in the community. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Home Visits: Conducting regular assessments and check-ins with adult patients to evaluate their mental health needs.
- Medication Management: Administering prescribed medications and ensuring treatment adherence.
- Support and Communication: Engaging in meaningful conversations to understand patients' challenges, providing emotional support, and monitoring their progress.
- Risk Assessment: Performing thorough risk assessments to ensure the safety of patients and those around them, creating a secure environment for their treatment.
- NMC Registration as a mental health nurse (RMN).
- Proven experience with adult mental health in a community setting.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- A genuine commitment to delivering high-quality care for adult patients.
