- Band: 6
- Location: Manchester
- Contract Duration: 3 months (with potential for extension)
- Schedule: Full-time (Days)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Hourly Rate: £26
In your role, you will provide vital care and support to older adults, ensuring their mental health needs are met in the community. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Home Visits: Conducting regular check-ins with older patients to assess their well-being and support their mental health needs.
- Medication Management: Administering prescribed medications and ensuring adherence to treatment plans.
- Support and Communication: Engaging with patients to understand their unique challenges, providing emotional support, and tracking their progress.
- Risk Assessment: Identifying potential risks to ensure the safety of older patients and creating a secure environment for their treatment.
- NMC Registration as a mental health nurse (RMN).
- Proven experience with older adults in a community setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Capability to work independently as well as within a team.
- A genuine commitment to providing high-quality care for older patients.
