A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Mental Health Occupational Therapist to join a supportive and dynamic team based in Manchester. This role is ideal for an experienced therapist looking to make a meaningful impact in mental health care, with the flexibility of full-time hours or part-time working options.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with mental health conditions, developing and implementing personalized treatment plans.
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions to support mental health recovery, using evidence-based approaches.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and carers to promote recovery and independence.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Support junior staff and students in their clinical development.

Requirements:

  • A valid HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience in mental health settings, with a clear understanding of mental health conditions and therapeutic interventions.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
  • The ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality patient-centred care.

Working Hours:This is a full-time role, but part-time applicants will also be considered. The role offers flexibility in working hours to support a positive work-life balance.
