Location: Manchester

Our Local Authority Client are recruiting an Occupational Therapist for their team in Manchester.

You'll be responsible for carrying out functional assessments for disabled children across the city who have both physical and hidden disabilities. These assessments will take place in the child's home, sometimes at school as part of an MDT approach with health colleagues and social care team.

You will identify equipment and adaptations that woll promote the child's independence. This includes postural seating, specialist equipment such as shower chairs, beds, moving and handling risk assessments, safe spaces, padded rooms and safety assessments.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma level qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Professional registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Current driving licence and access to a vehicle
