Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for an Experienced School Administrator to join a vibrant and forward-thinking secondary school in Wythenshawe. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with a proven track record in school administration to make an immediate impact and contribute to the smooth running of the school. The role is to start as soon as possible, so we are looking for candidates available for an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Front Office Support: Acting as the first point of contact for students, staff, parents, and visitors, ensuring the school office runs efficiently and professionally.
  • Pupil Attendance and Admissions: Managing student attendance records, assisting with admissions, and handling any related queries or paperwork.
  • Administrative Support: Providing vital administrative support to the senior leadership team and teaching staff, including managing correspondence, filing, and scheduling meetings.
  • Data Management: Maintaining and updating the school's management information system (SIMS) to ensure accurate records of students and staff.
  • Financial Duties: Assisting with invoicing, handling petty cash, and processing orders as required.
  • General Office Duties: Answering phone calls, dealing with enquiries, and ensuring that all documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a school administrator or in a similar role is essential.
  • Proficiency in using SIMS (School Information Management System) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information sensitively and maintain professionalism at all times.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to work well under pressure.
