An "Outstanding" SEND Secondary School based in Wythenshawe is seeking a dedicated and friendly Administrator to join their team to cover maternity leave. The school administrator plays a key role in the day-to-day operation of the school office, acting as a first point of contact for parents and visitors, and providing essential administrative support to the office staff. Location: Wythenshawe (M23)Hours: Full-time, 8am - 3:30pmContract type: Temporary (approximately 9 months)General Responsibilities:
- Providing general administrative support within the school office
- Acting as a first point of contact to visitors and parents
- Attendance administration
- Responding to queries via telephone in a professional manner
- Operating a busy switchboard, directing calls to the relevant member of staff
Key Skills/Experience:
- Experience working within a school office environment
- Experience in the use of school MIS systems
- Excellent telephone manner
- Friendly, professional and polite
