School Administrator - £14.00 phr + Holiday pay

Our client is seeking a highly organised and efficient School Administrator to join a thriving education provider in Longsite, Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator to contribute to a busy and rewarding school environment. This is an ongoing temporary assignment, offering stability and the chance to become a valued member of the team.

You must hold a valid enhanced DBS Certificate on the update service

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the school, including managing correspondence, handling phone calls, and greeting visitors.
  • Maintain accurate student records and databases.
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of school communications, such as newsletters and letters to parents.
  • Manage school supplies and equipment, including ordering and inventory control.
  • Support the organisation of school events and activities.
  • Process invoices and manage school finances, as required.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Adhere to school policies and procedures, including safeguarding guidelines.
  • Any other reasonable administrative duties as required by the school.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a School Administrator or in a similar administrative role within an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with school management systems (SIMS or similar) is highly desirable.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, manage workload effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive and positive attitude.
  • A current DBS check and on the update service.
