This innovative business is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurially minded Social Media Manager, with experience of working within a service- based, edtech or fintech company, to shape and execute the social media strategy for the company and support the content strategy across socials and for their podcast.

Key Responsibilities in this Social Media Manager role:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to drive engagement, growth, and sales across all social media channels including the main company and founder accounts.
  • Create and curate high-quality, engaging content tailored to the audience, ensuring consistency with the brand’s voice and identity.
  • Collaborate with the Founder and the marketing team to manage the main socials account and podcast content strategy.
  • Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications to stay ahead of the curve and continuously improve social media presence.
  • Analyse social media metrics and generate reports to assess the performance of campaigns and inform future strategies.
  • Engage with the online community, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identify and collaborate with influencers and brand advocates to amplify reach and impact.
  • Plan and execute social media advertising campaigns to support marketing objectives.
  • Support content creation efforts, including copywriting, graphic design, and video production, as needed.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments in social media, digital marketing, and the broader industry landscape.

You will have:

  • 2+ years working within a service-based environment - or within an edtech or fintech space.
  • Demonstrable results in high performing content creation, high engagement, and social media sales attribution.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging channels.
  • Excellent copywriting skills and the ability to create compelling content that resonates with the audience.
  • Proficiency in social media analytics tools and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Passion for social media, digital marketing, and staying current with industry trends.
  • Experience with social media advertising and campaign management is a plus.
