Role: Carpentry and Joinery Assessor / Skills Coach Location: Merseyside Rate: £35 - £45 Type: Temporary Eden Brown are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Carpentry and Joinery Assessor / Skills Coach on behalf of a leading Further Education College in Merseyside. As a Carpentry and Joinery Assessor, you will play a crucial role in assessing students practical and theoretical skills, ensuring they meet the required standards for their qualifications. You will work closely with both students and faculty to maintain high-quality education and training in Carpentry and Joinery Key Responsibilities: * Conduct practical and theoretical assessments for students in the Carpentry and Joinery program. * Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them achieve their qualifications. * Ensure all assessments are carried out in accordance with awarding body requirements and college policies. * Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessment outcomes. * Work collaboratively with teaching staff to enhance the curriculum and delivery of the program. * Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices to ensure the program remains relevant and effective. Qualifications and Experience: * Recognised qualification in Carpentry and Joinery (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent). * Assessor qualification (e.g., A1, TAQA, or equivalent).Is desirable (the college will put you through your Assessor qualifications and give you the skills you needed to support with the training needs of learners through a range of methodologies. * Proven industry experience in Carpentry and Joinery * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * A passion for education and helping students succeed. * Experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
