Meridian Business Support are working on behalf of a Further Education College based in Greater Manchester.  They are looking for a qualified and experienced Teacher of Fashion and Textiles to deliver stimulating and exciting lessons to their students.Role: Teacher of Fachion and TextilesLocation: Greater Manchester Pay rate: £28.00 - £30 per hour Start date: 29th October 2024Duration: 3 Months Role responsibilities:
  • To teach Level 3 Extended Diploma Fashion & Textiles
  • Experience/Qualifications required:  
  • Preferably a degree in Fashion and ability teach to level 3 and deliver textiles related processes (print, knit, weave for example) and specifically fashion design and garment construction (pattern cutting and sewing).
  • Must be able to start on Tuesday 29th October 2024, covering up to 3 months
Hours of work
  • 18 hours per week, Tuesday – Friday
Ideal candidates will have:
  • PGCE or other teaching qualification
  • DBS on the update service or be willing to have a new one processed
  • Experience teaching Fashion and Textiles
