Manchester University Foundation Trust are seeking a skilled and compassionate Band 6 Physiotherapist to join their Neuro Rehabilitation team. This is an exciting opportunity to assess, treat, and manage a caseload of patients requiring specialist neurological intervention in a variety of settings, including clinics, patients’ homes

Main duties of the job

  • work as an independent practitioner in the assessment and management of complex patients, using clinical reasoning and a variety of evidence-based, expert skills.
  • To ensure regular review of the caseload within a patient centred goal setting model and make decisions regarding own capacity against patient complexity and prioritising as appropriate
  • Support on the Implementation of evidence-based interventions, pathway development and progress of teams to ensure a high quality, effective and efficient therapy service is provided to clients receiving physiotherapy interventions across the MLCO

To be successful in applying for this role you will need:

ï‚· Qualifications: Degree in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration.

ï‚· Experience: Relevant specialist clinical experience in neurology or stroke care. Experience in community settings is desirable.

ï‚· Skills: Excellent communication, time management, and clinical reasoning skills. Ability to manage a diverse caseload and provide leadership.

ï‚· Attributes: Self-motivated, adaptable, and empathetic, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
