We have a fantastic opportunity for an Assets and Compliance Coordinator at Salford City Council, this is a full-time temporary role for the next 11 months with the possibility of extension.

What is the role?

Salford City Council are looking for an Assets & Compliance Coordinator, to support the Building and Facilities Management team and other key stakeholders in the delivery of property compliance and general property and asset data.

What are your responsibilities?

  • Responsible for the recording and updating of asset and compliance data within the council’s asset management system.
  • Coordinating with contractors and service partners to ensure smooth delivery of planned preventative maintenance programmes.
  • Working with Building and M&E Surveys to ensure quotations and requests for works are quickly processed.
  • Liaising with key stakeholders and external agencies to arrange access to properties not directly managed by the team.
  • Extract and analyse data from the asset management system to provide reports to the senior management and executive teams.
  • Upload compliance documentation to the asset management system.
  • Attending contractor meeting and taking minutes where required.
  • The frontline support for contractor and council enquires in relation to asset compliance.
  • Track and monitor remedial actions and tasks to ensure they are completed within SLA.

What skills do you Need?

  • Must have recent experience of working as an Assets and Compliance Coordinator, or a senior administrator from a Local authority or housing association
  • Strong IT Skills, as you will be using Microsoft office and internal council IT systems
  • Excellent data recording, use of excel spreadsheets
  • Knowledge, or experience using concerto would be desirable
  • Excellent people skills, as you will be speaking to the public, other members of staff and managers.
  • Strong Minute Taking experience will also be required
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Hybrid role, you will need to be in the office 3 days a week
