They are seeking a Commercial Strategy Analyst to lead their Flexible Services strategy, focusing on optimising network capacity and enabling efficient energy solutions. In this role, you will analyse network constraints, manage tenders, and collaborate with forecasting and connections teams to drive demand-side response initiatives as well as collaborate with key stakeholders, including local authorities and industry partners to implement innovative flexibility solutions. Key responsibilities:
- Lead Capacity Management activities & identify Flexibility Services (FS) tender opportunities
- Support FS workstreams - enhancing participation & product development
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to shape strategy
- Evaluate Policy & Regulation that impacts workstreams
- Develop processes and manage relationships between Strategic Planning and Connections
- Develop & execute a targeted engagement plan for key customers, providing monthly reports.
- Advise customers on energy efficiency, capacity changes & low carbon technologies
- Capture load related connections data from I&C customers to support pre application processes
- Build and maintain positive strategic partnerships
Skills and experience required:
- Energy Industry experience - ideally from a DNO or supplier (Electricity/Gas)
- Strong analytical skills
- Versatile and multi-skilled, with a diverse and adaptable approach.
- Ability to build relationships with local authorities, energy providers, and regulatory bodies.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance
- Ability to interpret and manipulate data
- Excellent communication skills
