Cobalt Recruitment is proud to be working with a market-leading student accommodation provider as they look to hire a Compliance Administrator for one of their key Manchester locations.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-respected and growing organisation at the forefront of the purpose-built student accommodation sector. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of health, safety, and statutory compliance across the portfolio - with a particular focus on non-fire-related compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date record-keeping of all statutory and regulatory compliance documentation.

  • Monitor, track and update compliance schedules across a range of areas including water hygiene, gas safety, lift maintenance, and electrical compliance.

  • Liaise with contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of inspections, servicing, and remedial works.

  • Assist in the coordination of audits and compliance reporting.

  • Support the delivery of a safe and legally compliant environment for students, staff, and visitors in line with company policies and legislative requirements.

  • Proactively identify and raise any compliance risks or issues and support in implementing corrective actions.

Key Requirements:

  • Prior experience in an administrative or compliance-focused role, ideally within a property, facilities management, or accommodation setting.

  • Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and non-fire compliance areas.

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and compliance management systems.

  • A proactive and collaborative approach to working in a team environment.
