I'm delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a business in Manchester who are in need of a Technical Services Manager.

Day to day will typically vary but will see you responsible for ensuring customer standards are up to date and communicated across the business. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the Technical Services team to achieve excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with customer through gap analysis and effective communication.
  • Oversee Quality Management Systems and internal audits, ensuring non-conformances are addressed promptly.
  • Play a key role in external audits, supporting the Quality Managers and wider team.
  • Manage complaints and non-conformance systems to identify trends and drive improvements.
  • Support raw materials management, including risk assessments and compliance monitoring.
  • Maintain accurate customer specifications and artwork approvals.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proven experience in a technical or quality-focused management role, within the food industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
  • Expertise in quality management systems, internal auditing, and compliance processes.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A detail-oriented approach, capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
