An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing business in a newly formed Compliance Manager role. This business is a leading EAP and OH provider, who is looking for a good communicator, resilient and driven individual to join them onsite five days a week in vibrant office in the City of Manchester. This is a permanent role that offers £35K - £45K + benefits.

This role represents an unparalleled career advancement opportunity for an exceptional compliance individual. We are looking for a highly motivated, skilled, driven individual to lead our compliance function. The successful candidate will manage a range of compliance issues and be responsible for assessing risks, identify patterns and trends, whilst performing overall compliance management and enhancing overall compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and management of the company's compliance function, with responsibility for implementation, and ongoing enhancement of compliance procedures, whilst ensuring its alignment with business objectives
  • Analyse and oversee the full sales process to ensure procedures are compliant with best practice and regulatory expectations
  • Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of compliance controls including carrying out regular spot checks of sales and customer service video and telephone calls, websites, and processes
  • Ensure organisational compliance with accrediting bodies and standards, and pilot further appropriate accreditations wherever possible
  • Review implementation of new products and services, conducting DPIAs where required
  • Ensure compliance with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001
  • Ensure robust data protection practices, including strict adherence to GDPR and other relevant data protection legislation
  • Develop an effective education and engagement programme through ongoing communication and training to colleagues
  • Regularly report to senior management on the status of compliance initiatives, themes, trends and risks.

You will bring your can-do attitude, strategic analysis skills, data privacy expertise and high level of integrity for success in this role. Interviews will be one stage and will be onsite.
