Senior Regulatory & Compliance Manager

Do you have a deep understanding of beauty and retail regulations across different countries?

We're looking for an experienced Senior Regulatory & Compliance Manager with an in depth understanding of cosmetic laws to join a disruptive name in the luxury market that is experiencing explosive 100% year-on-year growth and projected turnovers of £50 million this year.

Joining the brand's autonomous 13-person product team, you'll thrive in a self-directed environment, using your research, planning, and risk management skills to ensure all beauty products meet international regulations.

Key tasks include:

• Ensure products follow all the regulations set by different countries (US FDA and the EU etc.)
• Review ingredient, label, safety test, and registration and ensure they comply with safety and ingredient requirements
• Oversee all official documents needed to get products approved and onto store shelves.
• Collaborate regularly with the QA team team to make sure products are always top-notch and meet all the regulations/standards
• Identify any potential problems with regulations and escalate when necessary
• Remain in contact with product development and marketing to make sure new products follow the rules and launch on time.
• Stay updated on any changes in the law and best practices, so the brand always stays ahead of the game.

Senior Regulatory & Compliance Manager - Skills needed:

• Educated to degree level in a science related degree
• Highly attuned to risk management
• Expert knowledge of cosmetics/personal care regulatory affairs.
• Understanding of regulations in different parts of the world (like FDA and EU) is important.
• Proven ability to helped bring cosmetic products to market while following the rules
• Detail oriented and able to juggle multiple products and projects to agreed timescales
