KS1 PPA Teacher - Paid to scale

Role: Year 1 TeacherOfsted: GOODArea: Openshaw M11Salary: MPS/UPS, Dependent on experienceContract: Fulltime, July 2025Start: April 2025 A thriving, Ofsted-rated GOOD primary school in Manchester M11 is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join their staff from April 2025 or sooner. The school are happy to pay to scale from day 1 for this role. The Head teacher is keen on inclusivity within the school for both staff and pupils. The role would be to work full time across Years 1,2 & 3. You would be allocated your own PPA time, however all planning will be prepared for each day. This is a full time position until July 2025. About the School:* Rated GOOD by Ofsted, with a welcoming and inclusive community.* Focused on providing high-quality teaching and learning for children aged 4-11.* Excellent support from senior leadership and a strong sense of collaboration amongst staff.Key Responsibilities:* PPA cover across Year 1, 2 and 3. * Support the academic, social, and emotional development of each child, ensuring their individual needs are met.* Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and enriching learning environment.* Maintain high standards of behaviour and promote a love for learning.* Regularly communicate with parents/carers regarding student progress.Requirements:* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)* UK experience.* Experience or specialism in teaching Key Stage 1.* Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and best teaching practices.* A passion for working with young children and a commitment to their development.* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the wider school community.* Excellent classroom management skills and a positive attitude.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Desirable:* Experience in planning and delivering phonics programs.* Familiarity with SEND strategies and inclusive education.* Ability to use technology effectively in the classroom to enhance learning.About Us:Aspire People is committed to connecting exceptional educators with rewarding teaching positions.
