We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Primary KS1 Teacher to join our team in South Manchester. In this role, you will deliver lessons and support pupils in the absence of their main teacher, ensuring they feel safe and cared for. Lesson planning is not required, allowing you to focus on engaging with the students and managing the classroom.

Supply TeacherThe successful and independent teacher will be responsible for a class which includes a pupil with specific medical needs. You will be supported by a Teaching Assistant.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Develop compelling lessons that adhere to the KS1/KS2 National Curriculum guidelines and complement the school's creative curriculum.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of age-appropriate expectations for KS1/KS2 students, providing appropriate scaffolding and challenges to optimize individual educational outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records of data, conducting analyses to identify areas for reteaching and address learning gaps, ensuring consistently high levels of attainment.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with all students, fostering an environment of trust and mutual respect.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with Teaching Assistants, key stage colleagues, and wider staff, actively sharing advice, resources, and best practices to enhance overall teamwork and effectiveness.

Essential Requirements:-QTS (Or an equivalent teaching qualification)-Excellent references to support previous experience in KS1/KS2-A CV that covers the last full employment history
