Year 6 Class Teacher - Openshaw, Manchester

Are you a passionate KS2 Primary Teacher looking for your next move that will excel your Teaching Career to the next level? Educate GM’s partner school are looking for a passionate and skilled Year 6 Teacher to join their caring and supportive Primary school in Manchester.

You will need Teaching experience in upper KS2 and bring a wealth of curriculum knowledge and expertise to the department. In exchange, you will be joining a collaborative and highly regarded diverse school within the heart of Manchester where high expectations are paramount. The school principal prides themselves on a child-centred approach to teaching where every child is encouraged to reach their true potential regardless of their background. You will be encouraged to develop via excellent training opportunities and an attentive senior leadership team. The role is full-time, commences in January 2025 and will continue until the end of the academic year but has the potential to be made permanent.

Salary: M6 to UP3 PayScale depending on experience.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • QTS status - You will need good knowledge of KS2 National Curriculum
  • Experience of Teaching in upper KS2
  • Great behaviour management
  • A genuine passion to support each child to reach their true potential
  • All candidates must have a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS)
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training (can be provided by Educate GM)
