We are recruiting for a KS1 Primary Teacher for a Primary School in Droylsden to work on a long-term basis starting ASAP!

Could this be the role for you? The KS1 Primary Teacher role is to start as soon as possible and will be an ongoing role with the possibility of this continuing into the new year. This role works 5 x full days per week Monday to Friday 08:30 am- 16:00 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of KS1 pupils.
  • Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support students’ academic and personal development.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education.
  • Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and achievements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for teaching.
  • Knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Have confidence in managing classes of pupils
  • Excellent organisational skills to keep on top of marking and lesson planning
