Primary Teacher

This Year 2 Class Teacher position in Openshaw, Manchester, offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Key Stage 1 teacher to join a supportive and dynamic school environment.

Role Overview

As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum.
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that supports all pupils to achieve their full potential.
• Work collaboratively with a team of professionals to maintain the school’s high standards.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
• Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1.
• Exceptional knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and effective classroom management skills.
• Creativity and adaptability to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• A valid enhanced DBS check and the right to work in the UK.
• A CV detailing your employment history over the last 10 years, with explanations for any employment breaks.

Contract Details

• Start Date: January 2025.
• Duration: Full academic year (maternity leave cover).
• Potential for Permanency: May lead to a permanent position in the following year.
• Salary: £165-£200 per day, progressing to M scale after 12 weeks.
