Romano Education are recruiting on behalf of a primary school in the Moston area of Manchester who are looking for a Reception Teacher to start ASAP and work through to the end of the current academic year, with the potential to continue into the next academic year. This is a full-time teaching position offering a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Create a stimulating and engaging classroom environment that supports children’s learning and development.
- Monitor and track the progress of each child, providing regular updates to parents and colleagues.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages independent learning and social development.
- Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff to support the needs of all children.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Proven experience working as a Reception Teacher and with Early Years children.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Passionate about working with young children and dedicated to their growth and development.
- ECTs (Early Career Teachers) are encouraged to apply as the school is happy to support with completing ECT years.
Hours and Pay:
- Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday.
- Pay: £130 - £200 per day, depending on experience.
