Literacy teaching assistant Tameside January start Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for a literacy specialist teaching assistant to work with on a 121 basis with a year 10 pupil who has a EHCP at a large secondary school in Tameside. This role is perfect for someone who has a strong background in English and maybe considering to start a PGCE in September 2026. You will deliver work to the student on a 121 basis, guiding them where possible providing regular progress reports to the teachers and student to help them progress in subjects as well as boosting their engagement in class as well as building on their and attainment levels. You will need to have good behaviour management and be approachable, resilient and confident when delivering the lessons to students.
