Primary Teaching Assistant

Empowering Learning are working with an OFSTED rated 'GOOD' 2 form entry Primary School in Newton Heath, Manchester who are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to join their team.

The school is based in a good location, easily accessible by both car and public transport.

The successful Teaching Assistant will be responsible for supporting in a number of different classes across the Key Stages, so experience working with different year groups is essential.

The suitable Teaching Assistant for this role will:

- Have previous experience working in a school

- Have a sound subject knowledge of Numeracy and Literacy

- Have experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs

- Ideally have experience with SATS support (Not Essential)

- Ideally hold a Teaching Assistant qualification (Not Essential)

The successful application will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check and 2 professional/education references.
