Location: Shotton Paper Mill, Flintshire
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day with overtime of up to 4 hours each day

Full Job Description:
As an Electricians Mate / Improver, you will work closely with qualified electricians, assisting with the installation and maintenance of electrical systems at Shotton Paper Mill. You will be involved in a variety of tasks such as installing heavy-duty cable trays, running cabling for power and lighting systems, assisting with control cabling installations, supporting large LV panel installs, and helping with the glanding & termination of cables. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and advance in the electrical trade.
Responsibilities & Activities:
- Assist in the installation of heavy-duty cable trays.
- Help with running cabling for power and lighting systems.
- Support the installation of control cabling for industrial equipment.
- Assist in large LV panel installations.
- Glanding and termination of cables under the supervision of qualified electricians.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Electricians Mate or Improver in a commercial or industrial setting.
- ECS/CSCS skill cards are essential.
- Strong desire to learn and develop your skills in the electrical industry.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Flexible approach to work and willingness to adapt to project needs.
- Proactive and safety-conscious attitude.
