Mechanical Supervisor (Gas - Small Works)

A well-established MEP contractor, based in the Manchester area are looking for an ambitious Mechanical Supervisor; for their aftercare division.
Responsibilities
• Supervising the entire project from end-to-end (General Chargehand type duties)
• Liaising with all internal/external stake holders ensuring the smooth running of the projects.
• Retrieving quotes and competitive process from suppliers and sub-contractors
• Take offs from Drawings Interpretation of specification/Drawings to project needs
• Technical Liaison and review with externals (clients, suppliers, sub-contractors)
• Attending meetings and site visits as/when required
• Willing to develop your role and advance your responsibilities further, for which you will be rewarded accordingly.
Experience Required
• Good technical knowledge on full mechanical services (Gas systems, public health, hot and cold water services etc)
• Find it easy to build strong working relationships internally/externally
• Must have ACS gas qualification (essential)
• Previous experience working on commercial projects worth £10,000 to £300,000
• Ability to run 4-5 projects simultaneously
• Able to use Microsoft packages and read/interpret drawings
• SSSTS/SMSTS would be advantageous.

• Salary negotiable depending on experience (circa £40,000 - £45,000)
