Production Supervisor
Late Shift: 2pm-10pm, Monday-Friday
Location: Wythenshawe, Manchester
Salary: £35,000-£37,000 + 4% Pension + 31 Days HolidayÂ
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Production Supervisor to lead our production team on the late shift. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production processes while driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the production team, ensuring adherence to HR processes for maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with the planning department to execute production plans in the most cost-effective manner.
- Offer valuable input and suggestions for enhancing company and production processes.
- Ensure timely completion of all tasks and training, using platforms such as BambooHR and Highspeed.
- Work closely with the Training Manager to ensure all team training is thorough, tracked, and in line with company guidelines.
- Lead your team with fairness and consistency, adhering to company people policies.
- Hold regular team meetings to address issues, provide constructive feedback, and manage all related paperwork.
- Conduct 1:1 meetings with team members, setting SMART objectives to support their growth and development.
- Support and guide the team to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a Production Supervisor or team leader role
- Demonstrable leadership skills and experience within a leadership team.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
