TXM Recruit are exited to announce an opportunity with one of the largest rail companies in the UK.

We are looking for candidates with a background in a simialr position with expeience with rail construction and infastructure projects.

Within this role, there is an expectation of travel required. Our clients has several depots dotted around north England which include Newcastle, Hull, Liverpool and many more! Additionally, a hybrid work pattern is available due to being away from home for some days.

your responsabilities will be as follows:
  • Lead and coordinate the delivery of Construction and Infrastructure projects related to Train Care Centre, Depot Outstation and station platform infrastructure programmes as designated
  • Supporting and ensuring delivery of specified projects being delivered by Network Rail ensuring that all delivery issues are transparent
  • Lead internal delivered programmes relating to infrastructure enhancements as assigned.
  • Ensure appropriate end-to-end project lifecycle management is adopted for internally delivered projects
  • Plan and communicate project timelines, highlight changes to baseline.
  • To identify risks and proposed risk mitigations in a timely manner, up to Programme Steering Committee level, such that proactive mitigations can be taken to sustain key programme milestones.
  • To keep an overview of other infrastructure projects, coaching Project Managers in good project management techniques and ensuring any critical issues in the delivery of those projects that may impact on the broader transformation programme are escalated.
  • To Programme/Project manage other infrastructure projects and provide cover for other Programme Managers as required.
