We are working with one of our longest tenured clients, who are seeking a Project Controls Manager to support a high-value project in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team deliver a complex infrastructure project in a high-profile aviation environment.
This position requires a seasoned Project Controls Manager with a strong background in major projects and a proven ability to deliver in a large-scale setting.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Programme Controls Function: Oversee programme controls, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of plans, costs, safety, environmental considerations, and performance reporting.
  • Review Project Proposals: Evaluate new project proposals and remits to ensure the development of realistic and resource-efficient plans for programme delivery.
  • Resource Management: Identify and manage resourcing requirements, liaising with planning teams to address and resolve any resource issues effectively.
  • Reporting & Support: Provide efficient, day-to-day services to Programme and Project Managers, delivering accurate reports on plans, costs, safety, environment, and programme performance.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure that data entered into cost and performance systems by project teams meet the required data standards, maintaining high levels of quality and accuracy.
Essential Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Project Controls Manager in major construction projects.
  • Excellent understanding of programme management and controls, including planning, cost management, and performance reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage resources effectively within complex and high-value infrastructure projects.
