Project Manager

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a significant high-rise project in Manchester, due to begin in May. You will be overseeing a cladding project on a high-rise building.
This is an 18-month contract, and you will be responsible for overseeing the project from inception to completion, managing a team of professionals, and ensuring all aspects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the high-rise construction and cladding project from start to finish.

Oversee all aspects of project planning, coordination, and execution.

Ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Manage and supervise subcontractors, ensuring work is performed to specification.

Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to provide regular project updates and resolve any issues.

Monitor health and safety standards on-site and ensure compliance with regulations.

Manage project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets.

Address any risks or challenges and proactively find solutions to keep the project on track.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction, specifically with high-rise and cladding projects.

Strong knowledge of construction methods, regulations, and health & safety standards.

Experience managing large-scale projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.

Relevant qualifications (e.g., Degree in Construction Management, SMSTS, CSCS).

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.
