A leading Construction company are looking to appoint a Project Manager to deliver a new build residential scheme in Manchester consisting of light weight steel frame apartments and some affordable housing.

The company deliver a range of Residential and Commercial schemes across the North West for both public and private sector clients

Reporting into a Contracts Manager, you will lead and manage all aspects of the project, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

Project Manager Duties will include:

  • Responsibility for the management, planning, programming & phasing of the project.
  • Managing your team; setting objectives and developing people within it
  • Acting as the Client point of contact on site
  • Ensure best practices and quality are being maintained
  • Monitoring and co-ordination of subcontractor activity
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with the client and designers
  • To monitor the progress of the project and manage issues as they arise
  • Responsible for all health and safety on site and liaison with the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Manager
  • Ensure all documentation is correctly administered and Company Procedures are followed

You will need to have proven experience of successfully delivering similar residential schemes as the Project lead.
