This is a12 - 18 Month FTC with a view to going permanent after,paying £80,000 per annumin addition to acomprehensive benefits package and a car allowance.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager:
- Manage overall project programme through matrix managed project teams effectively.
- Act as a programme coordinator for the site and to ensure appropriate resource is available and allocated to deliver projects successfully
- Take profit and loss responsibility for the site, and ensure the programme is in place.
- Draw together matrix managed teams to deliver owned projects
- To assume and assert commercial control over projects allocated to deliver margins identified.
- Set and manage client expectations through clear communication centred around programme, budget and the quality of services
- Create strategic and operational programmes and ensure the Projects Managers adherence to appropriate processes
- In accordance with contract forms, manage project team within the specified terms
- Manage supply chain ensuring formal performance feedback is provided to the procurement team
- Maintain high, and statutory compliant, health and safety standards on project sites at all times.
Essential experience the Senior Project Manager would need:
- Fully understand CDM
- Would have managed projects in a healthcare environment
- Familiar with the RIBA stages
- Strong client facing and customer services skills with the ability to cope with demanding and varied customer requirements
- Need to have a track record of successful management and delivery of projects as well as experience of successful partnership
