Description
As the Buyer your duties would include, however would not be limited to:
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities within the procurement process
- Managing supplier relationships for optimum performance including negotiations on price/lead time etc
- Ensuring timely delivery of products
- Working closely with the Procurement & Supply Chain team
- Monitoring market trends to inform procurement decisions
- Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures
- Contributing to the company's sustainability efforts by promoting responsible procurement practices
Profile
The successful Buyer should have:
- Worked in a similar position within a manufacturing business and have a solid understanding of procurement strategies
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- Excellent negotiation skills and a keen eye for identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Knowledge of market trends and their impact on procurement
Job Offer
