Description
- Manage procurement processes ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct market research to identify procurement opportunities and potential suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
- Review existing contracts and make recommendations for improvements.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to understand their procurement needs.
- Provide procurement guidance and advice to colleagues across the organisation.
- Monitor performance of suppliers and ensure contractual obligations are met.
Profile
- Proven experience in a similar procurement role within the Public Sector.
- Strong knowledge of procurement regulations and procedures.
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
- Strong analytical abilities with a strategic approach to procurement.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage with various stakeholders.
Job Offer
- Basic salary £36,000
- Generous annual leave entitlement of 30 days plus bank holidays
