We are a leading fire protection specialist focusing on commercial, residential and domestic sprinklers. We provide specialist services across the UK. With a commitment to excellence, we deliver top-tier fire protection services to a diverse range of clients. Our team consists of highly skilled professionals who are passionate about fire safety and protection. We are looking to add a Quantity Surveyor to our Manchester team in the new year overseeing projects in the North!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage financials and contracts for major sprinkler installation projects
  • Lead commercial strategy in contract negotiations and execution
  • Review contracts and support business governance gateways
  • Maximize project profitability through value opportunities and cost control
  • Provide accurate monthly CVRs, managing risk and opportunity
  • Lead commercial matters including insurance and bonds
  • Manage applications for payment and retention collection
  • Address contractual issues promptly, balancing business protection and relationships
  • Improve Nett WIP figures through cash collection and cost control
  • Support business development activities
  • Ensure compliance with company commercial and legal policies

Key Requirements:

  • Experience working in a similar role
  • Must have experience working on major fire protection installation projects for commercial and residential contracts
  • Must have a mechanical background specialising in fire protection
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to work collaboratively across different departments
  • Valid UK driving licence
