Senior Quantity Surveyor - High-Rise Build to Rent

Our client, a well-established contractor with a strong reputation in the construction industry, is seeking four experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile Build to Rent (BTR) schemes across Manchester and Leeds, contributing to the successful delivery of multiple large-scale, high-rise residential projects. Project values typically range from 15m - 80m.
The Role:
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all cost and commercial aspects of the projects, ensuring financial efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards. This will encapsulate Pre-Construction work in accordance with the BSA (Building Safety Act). Your key duties will include:
- Cost management and forecasting across multiple high-rise BTR developments.
- Procurement and subcontractor management, ensuring best value and quality.
- Contract administration, including JCT and NEC contracts.
- Value engineering and risk management to optimise project outcomes.
- Working closely with project teams to ensure delivery within budget and time constraints.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the residential, high-rise, or Build to Rent sectors.
- Strong knowledge of JCT/NEC contracts and procurement processes.
- Excellent cost management, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple projects and stakeholders.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
