Client:Castlefield Recruitment are working exclusively with a Greater Manchester based Housing Association in order to recruit a Rents and Service Charge Manager on a permanent basis and can offer hybrid working arrangements (minimum one day per week on-site).
Role:The Rent and Service Charge Manager will be responsible for the delivery and management of all aspects of rent and service charges and will be a key point of contact for tenants, stakeholders and colleagues across the organisation
Duties will include;
- Manage the annual rent modelling exercise for tenants and final rent and service charge calculations
- Ensure all Regulatory and Legislation requirements are met
- Review and update of the rents and service charges policy
- Ensure variances and risks are promptly brought to the attention of the Head of Finance.
- Reconciliation of rent and service charge accounts and the preparation of annual statements
- Preparation and submission of the Statistical Data Return to the Regulator of Social Housing
Person:
- Extensive experience of the management of rent and service charges.
- In depth knowledge of rent and service charge legislation
- Social Housing experience (essential)
