Castlefield Recruitment are working with a Housing Association in order to recruit a Rents and Service Charge Manager on a permanent basis in what is a newly created role. This community focussed organisation have a number of improvement projects within service charges that you will lead.

Role:Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will lead on all rents and service charges for the organisation. Duties will include;

  • Lead the rent and service charge function while managing the preparation of the groups rent and service charge income and expenditure budgets
  • Managing the rent and service charge setting annually for all new lettings and tenures
  • Ensuring rent and service charge review notices are appropriately served on all tenants and lease holders
  • Liaising with external stakeholders to ensure all costs are correctly identified and income maximised
  • Creating service charge budgets for new developments 

The successful candidate:

  • Experience of rent setting 
  • In depth knowledge of rent and service charge legislation
