Talent Acquisition Specialist – Finance

Paying up to £22.00 per hour - A leading retail organisation based in Greater Manchester is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team on an interim basis to cover a period of absence.

This role focuses on recruiting for their rapidly expanding finance team, making prior experience in finance recruitment highly desirable.

The position is available for an immediate start and is initially set for four weeks, with the potential for extension based on business needs.

THE ROLEAs a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a seamless hiring experience from sourcing to offer management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, including briefing, sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
  • Enhance employer branding initiatives in collaboration with the People Experience team.
  • Develop and maintain candidate attraction materials, incorporating market insights and employer brand content.
  • Manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and build talent pipelines to support future hiring needs.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the recruitment process.
  • Partner with senior leadership to understand headcount planning, salary benchmarks, and strategic hiring needs.
  • Oversee relationships with external recruitment agencies, ensuring optimal performance and value.

THE PERSON The ideal candidate will be a proactive, results-driven recruitment professional who thrives in a collaborative team environment.

You will have:

  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, either in-house or within an agency.
  • Previous experience in finance recruitment (preferred).
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools.
  • A commercial mindset, with the ability to align recruitment strategies with business objectives.
  • Knowledge of HR and ATS systems.
  • A strong external network and awareness of best recruitment practices.
