We are currently recruiting for a Bid Manager on behalf of a reputable family run Property Services contractor that operate within the Social Housing sector covering Electrical and fire safety.

Our client is looking for an experienced Bid professional that will play an essential role in the continued growth and development of their business. This strategic position will directly influence our success, helping to secure high-value contracts and shape future direction. The Senior Bid Writer will craft compelling bids, collaborate with industry experts, and drive innovation in our approach. The position will suit someone who enjoys a hands-on approach and thrives in a dynamic environment. Key responsibilities include:

Shaping the future direction of the business through innovative, value adding solutions

Creation of high quality, compelling submissions, including writing and editing content (text and graphics) and document production

Management of bid document production, including championing best practice in planning and organisation and ensuring compliance with business development process, style and brand guidance

Supporting skills development of junior team members

Coordination of bid information in conjunction with the Bid Administration function

Contribution to development and implementation of the Bid Improvement Plan

Building and developing relationships with the operational teams

Championing best practice throughout the company

Obtaining client feedback, and participating in the CRM process

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

Excellent written English

Detailed knowledge and experience of bid writing

Communication and motivational skills

Management and team-working skills

Creativity

Computer literacy including Microsoft Office programs essential.

Ability to work fast and accurately

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 5 years relevant writing experience

Bid management, including document editing/production and process management

Coordination of diverse teams

Experience of construction/maintenance/building environment/energy sectors desirable

Experience and ability to interact and work with Senior Management Team
