We are seeking an experienced and motivated Bar Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our clients bar. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and the ability to maintain a high standard of service while ensuring customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for managing staff, inventory, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and driving sales through effective promotions and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Management:

    • Hire, train, and supervise bar staff, including bartenders and barbacks.
    • Schedule staff shifts and manage payroll.
    • Conduct regular staff meetings and performance reviews.
  2. Inventory & Stock Control:

    • Manage bar inventory, ensuring stock levels are sufficient and ordering as needed.
    • Track and manage usage of alcohol, mixers, and other supplies.
  3. Financial Management:

    • Monitor and analyze sales reports, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability.
    • Implement promotions and special events to boost revenue.
  4. Health & Safety Compliance:

    • Ensure the bar complies with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
    • Ensure compliance with alcohol laws, including checking IDs and responsible service practices.
  5. Menu & Product Development:

    • Collaborate with the kitchen/management team to create or update drink menus.
    • Introduce new cocktails and seasonal drinks to keep the menu fresh and innovative.
    • Stay up-to-date with current bar and drink trends.
  6. Key Skills & Qualifications:

    • Proven experience as a Bar Manager or similar role.
    • Strong knowledge of bar operations, cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage a team, including training and scheduling.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience. Includes potential bonuses based on performance.
