The Recruitment Co are recruiting for a Kitchen Manager based in Manchester City CentreThis role will start first week in MaySalary is £35k- £45k per annum with additional bonusesThis role is full time with shifts to be discussedThis is a hands on role as the company is opening a new (2nd) location in ManchesterThe brand is already established in another part of Manchester and has 50k plus followers on social media and an already established brand in the current areaDuties and key skills include:

  • Looking for someone with experience in managing or supervising busy kitchens
  • Food is typically cooked via grill so experience in this type of food is essential
  • Hands on role
  • Ordering kitchen materials and ingredients based on the menu and market demand
  • Working with Restaurant Managers to create menu items, pricing and establishing portion sizes of each meal
  • Scheduling shifts by business hours, days, and occasions
  • Overseeing the training of employees to ensure the safe operation of kitchen equipment and utensils and the proper handling of heavy items and hazardous materials.
  • Supervising food preparation in the kitchen and ensuring that customers are satisfied
