Position: Site Manager (Highways and Roads)

About Us:
Our client is a leading North West based civil engineering company specialising in highways, roads, and infrastructure projects. With a strong reputation for excellence and innovation, they are committed to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. As they expand their operations, they are looking for talented and experienced Site Managers to join their dynamic team for long-term permanent positions. While they prefer permanent staff, freelance opportunities are also available for the right candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage highway and road construction projects from inception to completion.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Monitor progress and implement necessary adjustments to keep projects on track.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports to senior management.
- Resolve any onsite issues or conflicts efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on highways and road construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or construction management.
- CSCS card and SMSTS certification are required.
