Our client is a well-established, family-run business with extensive experienece with civil engineering who pride themselves on having a loyal and long-standing team.

Role Overview:
Due to a growing workload, our client is seeking to hire a site agentto join their team. The successful candidates will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in managing or supervising staff on civil engineering projects, including drainage, highways, reinforced concrete, remediation, and hard landscaping. The roles will be primarily focused on contracts for the Environment Agency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and organize labor and plant resources on-site.
  • Work closely with the team and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Ensure that high safety standards are adhered to at all times.
  • Lead by example and project a professional image.
  • Oversee and maintain Quality Control procedures.
  • Ensure the efficient use of resources, maintaining a safe and tidy work environment.
  • Monitor costs weekly and control project expenditure.
  • Use MS Project to maintain and update contract programs.
  • Keep accurate records and manage an electronic filing system.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Word, Excel, and other electronic documentation tools.
  • Effectively manage and reduce waste on-site.

What is Required:

  • Extensive experience across various civil engineering disciplines.
  • HND/HNC or equivalent qualification (or higher).
  • A valid CSCS card.
  • SMSTS qualification.
  • First Aid at Work certification.
  • Strong knowledge of Health and Safety practices.
  • A solid understanding of Environmental Management principles.
  • A valid UK driving license.
